Youth Ministry Architects
The Youth Ministry Architects are the largest youth ministry consulting firm in the United States. They have agreed to provide a three day assessment of each church participating in YMI. This consists of two consultants (one will be the youth ministers coach) meeting with over ten different focus groups to determine the assets, challenges and recommendations of the local church as it relates to youth ministry. On the third day these are compiled into a report complete with an eighteen month blueprint on how to enact all of the recommendations. This report is presented in person to the stakeholders in youth ministry.
Ventures for Excellence, Inc
Ventures for Excellence assesses our youth ministers on ten character traits that have been identified as necessary for excellence in youth ministry. Each participant writes on an event involving each of the character traits during their two year participation in YMI. Attention is given to intentionally developing and improving behaviors associated with each trait.
Southwestern College
Southwestern College offers the only fully accredited and fully online degree program for a bachelors degree in youth ministry and a masters degree in specialized ministry with a distinct emphasis in youth ministry. Participants in YMI get free class credit for the practicum part of each degree program as well as a 10% tuition discount (when there are ten or more learners).
Holy Moments
Holy Moments writes all of the coaching curriculum for YMI. Each monthly session dives into personal and professional issues mirroring the instructional training modules.

The Center for Youth Ministry Training in Nashville, TN, is our fraternal twin operating on the same principles and foundational components as YMI.
